Ya, I was talking about the Pilot Cup Vs. 555R II...but after a little more digging I found the the 555R for $297/ea for a 295/18...which is nearly $100 less per tire than the Pilot Cup.
The RS3 could be a good middle of the road tire. But I hear they do better on lighter cars. I drove them in an S2000 and they seems to work great as opposed to on an EVO 9 on which they sucked...or at least sucked compared to the Dunlop Dirrezza star spec I drove on the same car.
Honestly though for the Money the Rival is still the tire I would pick. Maybe if I had to spend less I would get a BFG G-Force comp-2. It's cheaper, available in wide variety of sizes and make a decent performance tire and still good for DD.

[QUOTE=5 DOT 0;6633321] Not sure where you're reading that on the RS3 but there are lots of us using them on our Bosses with good success.
Not from reading, from actual driving experience. The RS3 just was not performing at the same level as the Dunlop. But maybe I'm just too **** picky.
