Widest tires...

So, if I am correct, the Boss has 9 inch tires in the front, and 9.5 inch tires in the back. Can you put 9.5 inch tires all around, using the same stock rims? What about 10's?

The size you want is the 275/35-19. It will fit all your rims and provide the same height all 'round. It'll be a little wider than your stock fronts, but slightly narrower than your stock backs. You will notice about a 6% or so difference in speedo reading, meaning that 60 indicated is really something like 56.

Since you really can't rotate the things, though, I'm not sure why you'd change from the 255 and 285 setup that's stock. Be more understandable if it were all 9 or 9.5 inch wide rims, but seeing as the rims are staggered as well as the tires... :dunno:

But whatever the reason, hope that helps ya. And if you want some more help, here:

That shows you the various sizes, and most importantly for this topic, how wide the 'safe' limits are for them on the rims.

:nice:

I have Forgestar CF5's in 19X9.5 all the way around....+35 offset....I run a 285/35/19 square and it works just fine...plus I can rotate my tires which I do about every 3000 miles....the current set of tires has 31,000 on them and still not at the wear bars, but getting there and a little harder.

Yes, but those aren't supposed to be used with the 9" wide rims, according to most manufacturers. 9.5" minimum width.

But if you wanna go Stretch Nation on the fronts in his case, sure, go for it. I wouldn't turn with 'em at any speed, though.

True....but wasn't saying to use them with 9" rims....the OP was asking about the widest tired and if a 9.5" or 10" would work in the front....just letting know what I was running. I wouldn't run the 285's on a 9" rim either.

Gotcha.
