Weird Quirks

Does anyone else feel a a slight "pop" in the clutch pedal through when they shift from a stop into first (a normal driving start, not a spirited BOSS start). I believe I can feel it through the gas pedal too, its just when the car starts to roll. I might just be hyper sensitive because I drive without shoes a lot (sandals are a big style point in this hot summer). Anyone else feel/hear this or know what this might be?

This is not meant to be another MT-82 bash thread, although I realize that may be inevitable. :D

My driveshaft has a lot of rotational play, so often the whole car will 'bump' forward when I engage a gear at a light.

I hear ya, but sometimes it pops twice when going into gear which doesn't seem to totally fit with what you're describing.

I have this but no pop.

No pop. But I have a lot of squeak in the travel now post Woodward Dream Cruise.

Mine did that when I had problems with creaking of the front LCAs. Once I had those replaced the pop I felt through the clutch when pulling out from a stop ceased.

Hmm, that makes some sense since when i turn into my parking garage and start up the ramp which has a steep incline it pops quite a bit.

I suppose i'll have to wait for them to actually start creaking or otherwise acting up since i'm sure i'll get a "cannot replicate or diagnose" for a problem with the LCAs that is felt through the pedals.
