Update on Lowered Boss

Just swapped out rear H&R Sports for Steeda Boss's with one coil cut off.
Left H&R's in the front.
Stance is now exactly what I wanted.

Looks great! How's it handle though? I haven't looked into the differing spring stiffness.

Isn't cutting springs frowned upon from an engineering standpoint?

Cutting progressive rate springs is frowned upon. The bottom couple coils on the rear Steeda's are very close together so the spring rate should not be affected much. Cut one coil. H&R coils are farther apart.
Have not been able to autocross yet to judge handling but the ride is stiffer than the all 4 H&R's or stock. Need to cut the bump stops as they are hitting.

If I may ask: What about your pinon angle and lower control arm angles and axel centering.

Last question, are you running a 1 piece DS or stocker.

Very interested on your findings after you put the car on the autocross coarse.

I have new lower control arms matched to the old H&Rs and an adjustable panhard bar for axle centering.
Stock DS.
1st autocross with this set up will be May1, at SCCA Toledo Airport. 7 or 8 more this season.
