Let's get one single thread going on this. I want to hear what you're running, your impressions with your set up. If you're planning on changing it for next season and if so, to what. Wheel and tire size. I know there's already a thread on staggered vs square set up but I'm ok with discussing it all again just so it's fresh.

I would like to hear this also. One question that I have is there a difference between running 18x10 with staggered tire sizes versus running 18x9and 18x10 wheels with the same staggered tire sizes. If you do elect to run a square setup what is necessary to keep from getting too much understeer or oversteer.

18x9.5 all around with 285x35x18 Hankook R-S3 tires <or> 275x35x18 Hoosier (Continental) R6s. Oversteer at first, so added an adjustable front swaybar (Strano). Car is just about back to where it was with staggared setup. Will adjust the front bar to full stiff in the spring. Others have used an adjustable rear bar (Strano) and softened it.

Will be going to 18x10 D-Force wheels from Vorshlag for next season.

Vorshlag D-force LTW5 wheels seem to be cost effective for the time being. Is there any other alternative ? FRPP BBS wheel is about double, CCW is more than double, and Forgestar (about the same price as the LTW5) cannot clear the Brembo caliper without going with an offset too low for anything wider than 9.5". Not to mention other mega-bucks multi-piece wheels at $5-6k a set.

Roush 18x10 wheels, 275/35/18 or 275/40/18 all around. Adjustable rear bar.

Preferred tire is Nitto NT01, but I will take whatever I can get in the way of scuffs (RA1s, R6s, Continental Slicks, R888s) if the price is right.

You're running 18x10's up front as well? How do they fit with the Brembo's?

What are people's thoughts on going with 19x9F and 19x10.5R with 255/35F and 285/35R while using the Pirelli PZero Corsa tires that the Boss LS uses? While VERY expensive, I have read decent reviews.

On the other hand, what about 18x9.5 all around with 275/35 Hoosier R6's.

If y'all are curious, my wheel choice is the TSW Nurburgring's in Bronze finish.

For the track and those wheel sizes you might look at the Yokohama AD08's. It comes in a 295/30/19 and 255/35/19 and are 1" lower which should be fine on the track.

No issues, they were designed to clear StopTech ST-60s

IMO and experience, these tires SUCK! They were good for 1-1.5 track days and then the started becoming delaminated in the center and became greasy/uncontrollable after that. Happened on my LS and two others. None of us will go with Pirelli for a long, long time after this experience. I just mounted up some Yok AD08's on my track rims and Hoosier R6 for the other two LS's. Haven't had a chance to get to the track with the AD08's yet.

Ya, I've heard good and bad things about the Pirelli's. What are your thoughts on the R6's?

Just ordered 18x9.5 squared with 285/40/18 Continental takeoffs. Havent make it to the track yet but from reading above it looks like I should expect some understeer.

I think it's oversteer with a square setup. ;)

It will be oversteer (rear breaking loose) not understeer.

i had the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole position installed on the factory rims in factory sizes. i went back and forth so long it nearly drove me crazy on what to get. I emailed bridgesotne and their engineer recommended the S-04 tires since the re-11 arent in factory sizes.

i haven't hit the track yet, but i have a few hundred miles on them. compared to the factory p-zero tires the S-04s are very nice so far. they acre actually much quieter than the factory rubber. i could also tell right away getting into some twisities even wit the 36psi they put in when they mounted the tires versus the 41psi i ran in the stockers at teh track, the S-04s have a much stiffer sidewall. they also seem to turn in much quicker.

It always felt a bit to me as if i could turn the wheel and then it took the slightest bit of time for the p zeros to finally turn in. the s-04s on the other hand move as soon as my hands do. I cant wait to get them on the track and see what they do for times. i will be hitting the track nov 15 so ill know then.

I've felt this also. Glad to hear it is the tires and not the bushings.

Interesting that the corsas are getting bad reviews, considering that in r&t 10 best handling cars stated that the cars with the corsas should have the advantage.

As for me it's either the vorshlag or tsw nurburgring for wheels. And either a nt01 or rs3 for tires. Symmetrical tires are important to me bc I can usually get a couple more track days out of them by flipping. And the nt01 are good for a couple a seconds at wsir over the rs3. Not to mention they don't usually harden until you get to the cords.

Also I'm thinking of getting the h&r rss c/o's to alleviate some of the oversteer. Any feedback on these? My last setup was the kw v3 with a linear spring swap and they were just ok with an amazing ride on the street. The clubsports are overpriced IMO and eibach r1/2 are next on my list
