Somebody take this man's Boss away from him.

It's cold, snowy, wet, icy and salty and I just passed a white '13 302 being driven on the QEW. Noooooo.

Life's short I would be driving it too. Not like its a classic Boss 429.

Hey more power to him! IMHO It's his car he can do what he wants with it. Certainly cringe worthy though I don't have the heart to do that to mine! :-)

better than it sitting in a garage its whole life :dunno:

I'm in the drive it till the wheels fall off club. I'll enjoy my treasures and whatever is left, a collector can piece together.

I know mine's not a 302 n all but I drive mine in the winter. With proper tires of course.

Seriously, leave that for the baseball card collection and Star Wars figurines. I drive mine in the snow and ****, just hose it off after to get the salt off.

What is it with the guys who choose white? The only other 2 guys I know who drive their Boss 302s in the winter are JeffL and Justin (at least he is in the Midwest and not in MA). Some guys have no choice, so just keep in washed and be glad it's not yours!

Hard to hose it off or wash it when it's below freezing...

exchallenger 1/11/14 11:15 AM

I don't drive mine in wet crappy weather for fear of getting all that sludge up under the car but snow is just as bad. If there's a worse car for driving in snow than a mustang I don't know what it could be.

A Camaro :rofl2:

Drive my 13 SBY year round with Pirelli snow tires in the Detroit area winter.

dmichaels 1/11/14 12:14 PM

I've been taking my GT TP out on sunny days here this winter. I have another car for winter duties, so not a big deal to let the Mustang sleep for a while.

My excuse to myself is I haven't bought winter tires for the Mustang :)

I am sure there are places to hose it off.

Yes indeed, they are called "Car Washes". :D the touch less one at my nearby Shell station even has an undercarriage sprayer.

Aside from the no heat, the rear engine got them around surprisingly well in St Louis winters. Not that I ever owned one.

2 wheel drive pickups - the most worthless vehicle in snow country EVER! Not that I ever owned one.

I would hope if your hosing the car off it is because there is no more salt and crud on the road, otherwise you do it again.
