Thanks guys. Finished the other side tonight. It was getting too late to try and put up the 3' x 6' Ford Racing decal so I'll go after that in the morning.

Thanks! Turned into a bigger project than I originally planned but I have a hard time not going all out once I decide to do something. Got the Ford Racing fathead up but only finished removing half the backing. Going to let it dry overnight.
I'm afraid to ask too. I have a sneaking suspicion it could be the dreaded suspension

Gary,
Looks great! Let me know when you have time to drive up and do my floor.
You could most likely get a portable lift to work in your garage. They only lift about 40ish inches, but you can roll the posts into the corner between track days.

Would make that suspension workover so much easier.

Hey guys first post here. I have my eyes set on a 2013 BOSS 302.
While I was at the local dealer they have a Race Red and White 302 on the showroom floor they still need to move. Not sure what # it is.
They have a 13' GTHIG on the way to the dealership that I am going to check out when it arrives. Here are some pics of the 12 BOSS.

When I talked to Dave Pericak (chief engineer for the Mustang) at the 2013 Mustang Reveal last November and asked him about how many years the Boss will be sold, all that the company would allow him to say is that "History will repeat itself" -- implying that the Boss 302 will be a 2-year production run (just like 69-70) and that there will be a 1-year run of the Boss 351 (like 71). This is plausible with the new 5.8L engine being in the 2013 GT500 (351ci = 5.75L).
Either way, a Boss 351 would be very welcome.

i know this isnt the exact place (thread wise) but i read that the boss has the same rear exhaust as the mustang gt. i ordered 5/8" plates from scott and i was looking at the borla sport axlebacks for the boss....would there be any problems with the back pressure or the sound coming from the side exhaust or the rear? sorry not a tech guy here.

Ford Racing fathead on the wall. Now the wife says we need a Boss 302, a pony and a Cobra for the other walls. Guess I'll be contacting Bob White decals again

Got my Curt weight distribution hitch setup today. Got lucky in that the head tilt I started with was just right. Spent about an hour measuring tongue weight at various car fore/aft positions since my '02 Dakota is rated for 750 lb max tongue weight. Got lots of marks now at 2" intervals so I know what the weight is.
Took my time loading the Boss to make sure I didn't do anything stupid.

Are the "plates" everyone is referring to something you add to block the side exhaust?
If so, what is the benefit in doing that? Increased back pressure?
Are the side exhaust open from the factory, or does the customer have to do anything to open them?
Where do the "plates" install at? Location point on the exhaust system that is?
