the cars that the press drove at the big event were on track key correct?, i assume that to be why the telemetry and some sites state more than 7500rpm. that said many of the tuners out there routenly push the 4.6 tunes rev liomiter several hundred or more up form stock, my brenspeed tune for my old 05 pushed it by 500.

rev limiter from the factory is 7500 rpm and hp stays flat through to the 8250 hardlimter in the ecu. I will have my limiter set at 7700 for reliability reasons...

Looks like the 285s only come in a Y rating but the 255 fronts come in both W and Y. I drove the GT500 today so can look at my tires when I get home. Either 168 or 186 mph if W or Y.

I don't think I'll get over 168 in the mile but I really don't want to be limited to 155.

C'mon mang!!! I've been following this thread since last Thursday. What's the flippin' hold up? We're talkin' bout horsepower numbers here, not nuclear missile codes. Please quit danglin the proverbial carrot and unass some dadgum numbers!

Getting the car and sheets tomorrow...I will try to scan and post, if not I can at least post the numbers. I am waiting for the ok as Fred is doing a vid and press release so if I post up before it makes the video not as cool. They are cool people and i want to respect Fred and Jon in their requests.

Sti - why not cut her loose to 8250? Last high rpm engine i had was 1994 integra gsr w 8100 redline. It was only up there a few times per day, but those few seconds were incredible. I can't wait for mine - just got an april 25 build date!
