Can anyone identify this?

[IMG]http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb450/phiggs54/Snapbucket/2ACCECC3-orig.jpg[IMG]

Located in the passenger side opening of the front splitter on the Boss302. I noticed it this morning when I was clening the car after yesterday's road trip. I suspect it is the sensor for the external temperature display. But I want to be sure it isn't some type of alien probe waiting to catch me with my guard down.

Copy the image link from your browser status bar. From the post window click on the yellow box that states insert image. Paste the link in the box that opens and hit enter. Give it a try.

We have this and yet no compass (yes I do like having one) Someday I need to see what it will take to add that, should be a plug and play part.

Agreed! Nice to have a compass to at least which dirction you are headed when turning onto a road. Sometimes eliminates the need for GPS.

Well to get that option, you need also to order your car with Package 88mph that comes with a full "back to the future" setup.

Yep, I remember you getting that and I have thought about doing the same. I am thinking there is just some missing plug and play part to add from Ford, I do like it better in the message center. I need to get off my butt and find out.

Hey - this is my 100th thread I have taken off topic

Do you have a thread describing your Homelink mirror install?

Sorry, I don't. I preordered it and the dealer installed during PDI. I paid $450 installed which is the suggested list. It includes temp, but didn't realize the car had it. My other Mustangs don't have factory temp gauges. You can save $50 by getting the one without temp, which does have a compass. That's the one I have in the other two Mustangs.

Thanks. I'll check with my dealer. Mostly I would like the garage openers. Although I am always needing to reprogram the ones om my wife's Nissan. But then again she is one of the few persons I know that can freeze a mac computer.
