Build Date bumped BACK!
 

Just found out that my build date has been pushed back a week... :-(
Scheduled for the week of the 23rd now...

Not sure what your point is.

This has happened to a number of orders. Shortages crop up and build holds result, lines go down for any of a number of reasons. It happens.

You will get the car when you get the car.....

Just bummed....

I have a a 2Q build and I sent Deysha a PM and the reply is that it is Order Processing and " As you already know, there’s a material hold on the BOSS which may take a toll on scheduling." I am glad this is not a daily driver so the materila hold is not a killer for me. I went to another dealer with a buddy yesterday so he could pickup is GT/CS which had to be dealer traded to get it and he said I really do not know what is going on but it is almost impossible to get any Mustangs even a V6 which he has had on order for 2 months for a customer and still has no information.

Just checked again...the build date was moved back again.. just one day this time to the 24TH of May...but NOW it has an ETA also...2 June....I think that's a bit on the optimistic side but hey..I MIGHT get lucky and they will have a full rail car to send this way! Either way tha addition of an ETA is progress in my book.

Use of the term "material hold" is (usually) just a generic Ford scheduling tool the line planners use to schedule in the Boss mustangs along with the "other" Mustangs and Mazada's.
Yes I know it is frustrating, but nothing you can do. My Boss was built on 5/2 and still has not been shipped out of FlatRock.

As of today...."In plant for production"...window sticker ought to be up soon! One step closer..yaaay.

I'll never be so happy to repress a memory! I'll have a 400 mi drive home to help me out.:screwy: Thanks for getting the discs done, I haven't received them yet since I'm almost on the Pacific, but I'm looking forward to getting them!
