The Shelby covers were $400 four years ago so that sounds about right. I can't remember what I paid for the cover on my wife's Warriors in Pink Mustang in 08, but I think it was around $250. My guess is it's a nice cover, but if you shopped around you might find one for less. It probably has some Boss specific logos on it if that matters. For us in the North that store the cars for the winter, gotta have a cover. For you Cali guys not so much

Do you still get the standard mats when you order the cover/mats option? If not, then you'll have to add the value of the standard mats to your $395 estimate. Yikes.

You get standard mats. The option includes mats with the Boss 302 logo and CC with the same. Mats at $80 + CC at $395 = $475 option price.

That is not bad at all. Most quality mats are at least $100
That woks out well, I do not need a cover here at all. Now I get a set of DD mats and a set of show mats for $80 instead of 500 for one set. So far thinking of doing that the pedestal spoiler. Have to put some more thought into the gauge pack and the the S or R rims. The standard rims I do think look good with the yellow car.

I just ordered the mats, could not get it from the fordaccessories site so I called the dealer. He said there were only 8 sets available in Detroit (now 7) so order them if you want, who knows what the wait will be there after. Price $80 -10%
I saw this site for the 302R wheels, they give a discount if more are ordered.

Ford racing has them at $650 each. This site has them starting at $625 and down to $560 for 20 or more. Sounds like something people could work out here.
I do like the 302S wheels better (9.5) but have not seen them listed or a price yet. If anyone has please post it.
EDIT I did not know that the wheel studs need to be changed for the R or S wheel. For an easy swap the M-1007-DC1910LMBR and M-1007-DC1910LMBF will be the way to go, learn something new everyday.

regarding wheels....
I talked to some folks at Rehegan about the current 302r (bbs) wheels. they thought that, not only do you need to change studs or lugs or both, but that a spacer might be required for the fronts. they also said that they're working with ford and bbs on a wheel that would fit better for the regular 302.

I bought the lower piece that mounts below the CS fascia on the Boss 302. If you look, the part that protrudes out on the corners, below the areas where the fog light/brake cooling holes are:
