Higher spring rates and a larger rear stabilizer bar – all upgraded over Boss specifications – help generate unrelenting grip. And drivers can dial in exactly the level of shock stiffness a particular track requires using the four standard, independently adjustable dampers with Laguna Seca-specific valving.

From Ford's original press release for the LS:

The only place I read about the LS vs. Street Boss suspension level difference was in Automobile Magazine earlier this year, and they're not the most credible source.

Dear XXXXX,
You must not have looked at the auction for a few days. The buy it now is
89,000 not 99,000. Our Ford regional rep has told us that there will be
somewhere between 250 and 550 units produced. We are the 2nd largest
Mustang dealer in the state of Florida (which happens tp be the largest
mustang region in the US) and we only get one. And yes you are correct
about there only being one option (the car cover and floor mats). Then the
high bidder can get either black or siver for the color. I also have 6
allocation spots for regular BOSS 302 Mustangs, so if you can't afford the
BIG ONE than maybe you can afford oneo f thoes at $5,000 over
sticker!!!!
By the way we already sold our first 2 BOSS 302 Mustangs at
$5,000 over sticker. So maybe you will pass on one of thoes
too!!!!!!
Maybe you should just look at regular 5.0 Mustangs.

Dear FordCustomerService -
The above post (#784) is an example of the improper attitude that tarnishes an automotive company's reputation, since dealers are sales agents of the products. It might be of benefit to have someone follow up to identify the individual who posted this response and determine why that person felt it necessary to write that.
Thanks for your attention.

That is the best picture of the orange I have seen so far. Two things I am really not happy with as far as colors go are adding black, not that the LS does not look good in the black but that is the only color you could get an original Boss in. Second is that the stripes, hood and roof are not flat black.
That car would look great with the color and flat black on it, IMHO

WOW! Somehow I've missed this until now. What a dramatic change for the better!!! All three are MUCH better than the factory design but the black with flat black and black with dark gray are both AWESOME! Ford- get a clue!!
