Boss 302 at Carmax!

My buddy in Virginia Beach sold his brand new Boss 302 to Carmax the other day. They are asking $42,998 and it's in perfect shape. Less then 1,000miles on it.

I guess he liked his BMW 1M better.

Have at it guys!

WHAT!!!!!!!!! He likes his 1M BMW better than a Boss 302?:doh::doh:

Now that beauty is going to stay over priced on the lot of carmax :shame:

I traded in a BMW M3 to get the Boss. IMO the M3 was not even close.

Mine can be had for the same price!!!

I'm sure a 1M is easier to live with on the daily than the 302.

Me, I would totally DD a 1M and keep a 302 in the garage for weekend fun. :D

Couldn't tell ya about having a 1M for a DD, but driving the Boss everyday is bliss.

I'm not driving it to and from work - I'm practicing my line.

No doubt a car like the Boss works for some people as a DD. :)

zwede Oct 14, 2011 08:22 AM

No problem using a Boss for a DD, that's what mine is.

But I guess I'm a bit weird. Previous DDs:

2005 BMW M3
1971 Corvette 454
1996 Camaro Z28
1975 Camaro

Still have the '71 Corvette. I restored it and it's now a weekend car.

Pretty much my plan with one adjustment. DD is my old BMW 323it wagon on days I can stand the slow pace or it's raining, other days Boss or 1M!

I am a big fan of the 1M. It took a while for the 1 series to grow on me but now that I've seen the 1M up close and personal it's a pretty nice ride. Wouldn't mind having one but I am dead set on the new 911, so I can't really afford to have that too.
