Barton Shifter
I just wanted to brag on his shifter..........
I was so dissapointed with the way my car shifted from the factory! To the point I almost put it for sale with 600 miles on it.
If any of you read my post about my "Clutch on the floor" then you know I had to have my transmission replaced with only 600 miles. While having the trans replaced I had the Ford Tech install the Barton Shifter (this was my tech's idea).
I swear this is a different car! I have not missed one gear nor have I even had any trouble getting into 2nd or 5th. It also help me beat a 2011 Grand Sport![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)
Props to Barton Industies for a fine job on a American made shifter

Good to hear the Barton shifter works so well. The Barton shifter appears to me to be the best shifter out there. I would like to see a comparison between it and the MGW shifter.

When Barton initially released their shifter design they used the one piece design they still had some deflection issues with it and people still had some issues getting in gear so they redesigned the bracket to use the 2 piece design which eliminated the deflection in shifting.
