Hence the reason we are paying so much coin for insurance; me $700ish a year. These are the 5 that people have come across but you have to believe there are more out there. (I've seen pictures of a CO Boss that was wrecked pretty bad at Mid-Ohio.)
Have there been 5+ Fusions totalled out of every 3,000 they've made, certainly doubt it.

I completely agree. Insurance premium was about 30% higher than my 2008 Vette. That is purely based on the "demographic" and the likelihood of wrecking of the Mustang owners.

Holy cow 700 a year?! That's cheap. I pay just over that every 6 months for a GT.

I ran into a buddy yesterday who owns a salvage yard and rebuilds only Ford products (mainly Mustangs). He went to an auction in Detroit last week and there was supposed to be a black LS going through with $38,000 in damage. He said in the pix it appeared that he could put it back together for less than $10,000. He watched the lane and the car never came through so there is another one lost.

That would likely be this one. I am really curious what the "6" on the windshield was for.

Statistically one of the vehicles with the highest roll-over rates is the Corvette. Obviously not because the car is unstable rather because it is driven aggressively.

That is the one, He said it looks worse in the pics than it did up close. The radiator still was holding water and it appeared to be lot drivable.

I ended up about three feet from him, less then the length of the hood. I never felt out of control, things happen and I have seen quite a few wrecks down here, even did some four wheeling myself this day. I had the the same Ferrari and a Daytona prototype behind me and let them get into my head. Looks like the same thing happened here.
The Ferrari should not have been passing in this section but, as always, money talks ....Normally I stop if I see someone out of control but since I had faster cars behind me I thought about punching it and trying to go by. Good thing I did not but was worried about getting hit from behind. In the end it all worked out and it was a good lesson without bending any metal.

Yes it is a big problem, something everyone should write their congressman about. These things are like a virus, spreading and consuming everywhere they go. If you sit back and do nothing someday you too will have tons of Porsche's clogging up you local track and slowing you down
