Thanks. Our taillight bezels will be even better - and fit too! These are just "place holders" while we get some other work done around here like enough 2010+ fuel doors to cover the demand.

Regarding AM - you are correct that they are currently the biggest in the lete model Mustang aftermarket, but our American-made products are no longer a good fit for a company with "American" in their name, even though we have worked with them for ~ 4 years of the 7 they have been in existence.

Ask them where all the Stack products come from, and more importantly, try to talk to someone from Stack and see the response you get (hint, you won't). We finally had enough of having every piece we make knocked-off overseas and then claimed as "discontinued" when they were in-stock and available, and we aren't the only one having this problem with them. Rather than continue a deteriorating relationship, we decided to just end it now and go our separate ways - in the long run we don't want our products intentionally "confused" with offshore pieces anyway, so this is a good split for us in ways which will soon become apparent to all parties involved.

In the "old days" a big retailer could squash a manufacturer just by cutting off orders - but we came up on the Internet and have always had a direct relationship with many of our customers. So the old ways of "getting rid of the competition" don't really apply to us, since we can still get our message, and new products, to our market without the retail giant in the middle mucking things up for us.

just stumbled on this new(not so new- but just noticed it) section here...sad to see the biggest retailer in mustang stuff has gone the wallmart route or worse, hawking the cheapest chinese stuff available. as folks get more and more fed up with such tactics, I hope to see these places all fold up eventually...
SHR has a perfect track record for quality and adressing customer concerns, hopefully folks will eventually see that and quit buying from the kind of companies that have about destroyed the US manufacturing base by importing ever cheaper lookalike stuff from companies offshore with no respect for anyones engineering/design efforts. most of these companies engineering/development comes from buying one of something and using a cheep set of calipers to sketch it up and fax the sketches to every sweatshop in china for quotes on copying it...always inferior in materials/fit/finish, and the price usually isnt all that much less...they make big profits at slightly lower cost as they aint got a nickle in development costs to recoup.
I say screw all the vendors that hawk this stuff- they are hurting us and our childrens future by their 'profit at any cost' mentality... I hate wallmart too in case anyone wondered. those few truly American companies out there like SHR are the ones that BUILT this country back in the boom days, the wallmarts/other 'importers' are why we are where we're at today.
theres a local store called 'menards' that sells like home depot stuff, but their adds always show at least a page of made in USA stuff, and they seem to be attracting quite a following because of it. lets hope this trend continues- if so maybe the 'stack racing' type stuff might fade from the big retailers inventory and they might come back home for sources, as it should be. till then screw them. good job SHR- keep it up!

edit- btw, GM is starting to kinda lean towards home too apparently- at work we just got a big contract for machining forged alcoa wheels for the cruze and more are coming...look for a upcoming American forged/machined OE camaro wheel next year from what I hear - what? a hint of job security in the USA? cool beans! :)

Any more love coming for the 99-04s? I remember you guys saying some stuff was in the works.

99-04 Fuse Box cover coming next. There's more in the pipeline, but we've been busy with the Discovery Channel stuff we're doing, which is taking up a lot of time at the moment. If it continues into the winter like this, we're going to be adding a second shift to be able to get more new stuff coming for the cars while shooting goes on around here for the TV stuff. Just playing a wait-and-see at the moment to see if it really continues taking so much of our time to get done, that's all.

Just installed my triple chrome window switch plates, they are beautiful, great quality and craftsmanship. Definately the quality you are not going to find in the cheap knock off china crap. Way to go SHR, its time for other American companys to do the same, and also time for the American people to support the companies here in our own land.

Thanks guys - we'll be back at SEMA again, booth 21209 this year near the front doors of performance hall, so stop by! We're doing a slightly smaller booth this year to see how it works out, but it's always a gamble in such a big show, who knows.

Dave, glad you like the switch plates - we're just glad to be able to do what we do right here, and shop in our own lives day-to-day to support others like us. There's plenty of competitive prices on U.S. made products out there, customers just have to take a moment to be informed so they can decide for themselves. :)

Any idea when you guys may have your matching black taillight bezels available?

Our lead programmer has been tied up for the past couple of months with this project (below), so we're a bit behind on the bezels, bt we're still shooting for 1st quarter (although later rather than earlier) of next year.

I am 100% with you on your decison to drop AM. I will not buy unless the product is made in the USA. I applaud you and look forward to doing business with you.
