The perfect fit! The stylish MRT Rear Window Louver completes the natural lines of the 1999-2011 Ford Mustang without compromising rear window visibility.

The curvature of each slat is designed to produce a tight, flowing look and an arc that complements the rear window. In addition, each slat features a smooth, seamless surface, free of distracting rivets and protruding hardware.

MRT Rear Window Louvers come power-coated satin black and ready to install. The louvers may be painted to your taste, but the power-coated black finish will look presentable on your vehicle as-is. The MRT louver features a patented one piece all-aluminum design that is lightweight and durable. It is hinged to allow you to easily lift the louver for cleaning. The included MRT Prop Rod Kit makes handling the louver a one-person job.

The MRT Rear Window Louver requires no sheet metal drilling or modifications during installation. A Hardware Kit is included and will provide you with the instructions and materials you need. MRT louvers are made and engineered in America.

Hey, I need some opinions on what rear window shade (louvres) to put on the back of my (estimated build date: 5/12/11) GT500. I have sort of painted myself into a corner here. It's kona blue, with wide white OTT stripes. Right now I'm leaning toward leaving the rear window louvres black, and heavily tinting the quarter windows, so the black louvres won't stick out so much. I think 1/4 window louvres would make it look to busy back there, and if I paint them kona, then it begs the question whether the rear window shade should be kona . . . and if IT'S kona, then I'm faced with bringing the white stripes down the louvres (or not). As I say, right now, I'm thinking black louvres and almost blacked out quarter windows (heavily tinted). I live in the hottest part of the desert southwest (east of Palm Springs) and this is as more a practical, functional choice than an aesthetic one.

Opinions welcomed and appreciated! Thanks.

Here is a picture of some Louvers that we painted to match the Kona Blue. This customer has red stripes and he did not do them down the louvers...
