Steam cleaning a car.

I've seen videos online for steam cleaning a car. Does anyone know if they make consumer grade cleaners? All the videos I saw were from professional detailers.

I would double check your owners manual on this. I am not sure people steam clean the new cars. I have not seen it done since the early '70's, due to all the electronics on the new cars. The heat can cause severe problems. Even if you wash the engine at the car wash, the last time I did that was many years ago, the owners manual had pictures of things to wrap and seal in plastic. A local detail shop told they will not even consider doing the engine compartment. You may want to check around with local detail shops in your area, and see what they do.
