Lightbulb Spoiler delete ?

Why is it when I go to Ford.com & build a 2015 GT does it automatically default to "spoiler delete" ? Can someone please explain this ? Thanks ! Scott PS, I'm not very fond of Fords website either

If I recall, the performance package deletes the spoiler.

I deleted mine on my non-PP GT order. Didn't care for the tiny blade.

I think the shape of the truck lid is perfect. I can't picture any spoiler improving on it.

I don't particularly care for the tiny one they're putting on there... but I figure the aftermarket will start showing up before long. And hopefully will utilize the holes that Ford already put there. Assuming it's not just stuck on there. I did see what looked like plugs in the right place on the underneath of the trunk lid.

I kind of like the spoiler, I certainly wouldn't give up the PP just to have one. I think we should have a choice. Anyway that's good info that I didn't understand from the Ford site. Thanks ! Scott
