OK, I'm having a little trouble with a couple of things.

1. Shipping of ~$1200
2. Any idiot can install all of the accessories except the Roushcharger and lowering springs with no risk to warranty.
3. I don't see a credit for the stock wheels and tires. If you're not getting a credit, maybe you should take the stock ones and either burn all the rubber off them :chirp: or sell them and then buy the new wheels and tires.

To sum up, the deal on the car itself and the Roushcharger is awesome. I feel you're getting taken for a ride on everything else. And I can't remember if I said this before but I think this car needs a brake upgrade over anything else but especially cosmetic mods.

But then again I haven't driven an S550 base GT. Maybe it's fine.

Look at getting the performance package. That will get you the upgraded brakes and a few other goodies. Not sure what they call that now, but was the track pack. With all the power of a Supercharger you had better have some good brakes on that thing. The Upgraded Brembos are the ones to go for. You will not have to worry about finding the specialty pads that some aftermarket calipers require.

Not sure if the shifter is still an issue, but I believe it is not a whole lot different than the S197. Look at the MGW shifters.

Looks like you are going to have some fun getting that all together. Good luck

+1 on the MGW if it's a manual. Although my same disclaimer applies. I haven't driven an S550 manual. Maybe it's fine.

But I just put the MGW on my 2014 and it puts my S2000's shifter to shame. That's no easy feat.

Might just as well get a Roush for those mods and price...

I'm curious why it would cost $442 to bolt on a set of wheels/tires.

I sure thought a supercharged Roush could be had for a lot less than $99k! I was thinking with the mods the OP was looking at would equal a Roush stage 2 and cost around $58k. I stand corrected.

There is a Dealer in Ohio that will install the Roush SC for next to nothing and you can buy the car and the package for $39,000. If you want more they will order the car for you:

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you just said. I would get it in writing that a dealer installed Roushcharger will still be covered under warranty. Warranties are like insurance and the people providing them (either Ford or the dealer) will do anything to get out of paying out if they can.
