Chrome trim alignment (European 2018 option pack 3)

Hi,

First i can tell you that i'm very happy with my 2018 Mustang ecoboost 10 speed auto! It"s a fantastic car. However, reading in forums about general build quality, i have to agree that there are some things that could be better. I took the option pack 3 (European) that includes a chrome trim border around the windows. If you look at my attached pictures, you can see that the chrome trim is not nicely aligned from door transition to the back of the car. And this is the same on both sides of the car. I was wondering if others also have these issues like that? Is this normal or should i contact my dealer to fix it, if it can be fixed?

Regards,

Koen

I put aftermarket stick-on trim around my windows, and I'm glad to say I did a better job than that.

I would take this to your dealer, who, hopefully, has a good body shop. This strip is adjustable if I remember correctly, by adjusting the clips used to attach it. Check the rest of the car for fender gaps and other trim areas you are not happy with. Adjstments should be under your warranty. Good luck!

I'll certainly do that. Thanks.
