2019 Mustang Bullitt

I can't be the only one that likes the new body style? It looks fast just standing still! It's a young angry horse. In Bullit regalia - want! If I still lived in SF that would be the car to have. Probably lose my license in short order. If they could catch me. lol

It took me a bit to get used to the new style tail on the S550 at first but taken in as a whole the car just flows without overly exaggerated styling elements. The minor update to the 18s make sense to me it's evolving and faster than ever while still retaining mustang cues. not an easy task! much easier with the interior and this is where the mustang wins it for me vs. the maro. even little things like how and where the selt belt clicks in or having visible gauges I like the mustang so much better. I agree the new mustang is the most competent and euro like version yet but still all American muscle car. that's what makes it so good as a driver and why so embraced over there too. certainly Porsche like and I'm thinking of one of their best and longest running GTs they made and with a V8 too. a supreme road car just like that one and that is really high praise. Ford is really nailing it with the mustang!

update: attended 2018 NYIAS, a 2019 Bullitt was on the display floor and a wicked Blk Ford GT Competition Series w/carbon fiber wheels was on a stage (but no '559).
on 4/17 "National Mustang Day" the '559 arrived on The National Mall / Wash DC and later that day i spotted a 2019 Bullitt on the streets (TT019)! '559 will be displayed on the Mall 4/17 - 4/23. next appearance possibly Ford Nationals / Carlisle PA.

I was driving around near Summerlin (west side of Las Vegas) yesterday and saw a Bullitt at Charleston and Durango. Had the Bullitt badge on the back and Michigan plates on it, unfortunately I was turning when it passed me and couldn't get over to follow it or even get a picture.
It did sound good, and looked really good in the sunshine.

attended pre 2018 Ford Nationals at Carlisle PA (set up day 5/31), not one but two 2019 Bullitts on-site. along with a GT, Ranger, Edge ST, Raptor and many more. unfortunately '559 was not there. hope to go back this sun.

I would order one but I'm scared to see what ridiculous markup is put on them because of all the hoopla and limited numbers surrounding it. I'm settling for a 2019 GT Premium. I'll probably be placing my order next weekend.

Anyone going to the Mustang Owner's Museum Grand Opening 4/17 - 4/20, located in Concord NC?
i read in the latest Mustang Monthly magazine that the 1968 Bullitt '558 found in Mexico (not to be confused with the '559), has been restored and will get unveiled there. be sure to post pix!

558 is the stunt car;
559 is the one McQueen drove, & will be unveiled, & the owner will be talking about finding it in Mexico, & the restoration...

‘558 did NOT make it to the Mustang Owners Museum / 55th anniversary event in Concord NC. They said the restoration is not yet completed.
Hoping to see both ‘558 the fully restored Jump car found in Mexico and saved from becoming an Eleanor clone and ‘559 the unrestored Hero car someday somewhere.
