looks like a new green is gonna be offered for 2019 MYs.

"Mustang enthusiasts now have more opportunity to personalize their car than ever before, with exciting new vintage-inspired colors including Velocity Blue, Need for Green and the iconic BULLITT model’s exclusive Dark Highland Green." -source: Ford Media re 2019 California Special

i think originally it was called "Spinel Green", but "Need for Green" has a better ring to it. i'm surprised Dark Highland Green will also be available! curious to hear what reaction comes out from the Bullitt fan base. so far, only came across a few pix...

IMHO it looks a little greener to me but it is close to GHIG.

I passed on a GT equipped the way I wanted it because it was GHIG. Don't know if I could take the need fro green either, However I would jump on the dark highlander green. But that's just me.

After doing a side by side comparison, I see exactly what you mean now Gary :nice:

From the pics, this looks more like a true green, straight green color, whereas the GHIG was a pearl/metallic green. Like the difference between Performance white and a pearl white, or black and Tuxedo black.

I don't really care for it on that car. I don't think it will age well either, probably be hard as hell to get rid of in a few years if you went to sell it.

But according to resale value green and yellow cars hold their value better than other colors... :screwy:

looks like Ford unveiled exterior color Velocity Blue on 4/17 National Mustang Day 54th Birthday gathering at WHQ, nice!

uhhhh, not a fan of that green. :bad:

Highland is good and don't mind GHIG, but would not buy either of them (Sorry Tony!).

Not a fan of the Rhino, Concrete, or "battle ship" gray that all the automakers are pushing either. Looks like primer with clear coat over it.

The orange and blue (Go BSU Broncos) are nice

I do like the Velocity Blue, but not the "Garden Hose Green".
