No chance of that being the next Mustang. Maybe the next GT but even that is doubtful. The next bat mobile or some other super hero car I can believe. I'd love to own a car that looked like that...never happen.

Now that is a possibility and not bad either. :metal:

On that render from halopnik, the spot next to headlights... Could that vent into the fenderwell for some cooling effect?

No. I don't care where that "styling element" came from. It would make the blunt front end even less aerodynamic. I would think it would be a huge collector of air turbulence.

Im not necessarily calling it a good thing. All im sayin is thats what it kinda looks like: vents that flow into the fenderwell. The vent wouldnt cause as much turbelunce as an indention like that alone however

Did you guy's read the jalopnik.com link?

If it's to be believed?

"Someone who has seen the 2015 Mustang said this was the closest he'd seen as far as renderings go. He stated "The green one is very very close to what they showed me. Except the fogs were the little round ones and the wheels were very similar to the 2012/13. The mirrors were shaped different but the side molding is spot on."

That is by far the best next thing i want the Mustang to look like. I'd buy this thing in a heartbeat. Really like the lines

The three guys who saw the 2015 can't seem to put a coherent string of ideas together. Right now I think they saw something, but based on that abysmal sketch (which reminds me of the leprechaun in AL), and awful descriptions, who knows what is correct.

What's wrong with the "amateur sketch"? :) It's on notebook paper, no less, haha!

But, yeah, you're completely right. I mean, one guy said the front end of the 2015 is "very very cool," while another claims he wasn't impressed because it looked like a 2013 Mustang. And let's not forget the guy who said the 2015 Mustang's front end was essentially a 2013 Fusion fascia with a pony slapped on the grille. Out back, one guy claimed the tail lights were "all red," while another recalled them being "black" like the 2013 Mustang's.

The part about the hard interior plastic had me scratching my head, too. He said, "The biggest thing I remember is the hard black plastic parts have not changed. However, it appears the plastic is now padded as it was not as hard as my cars is." Huh??

Check out this other 2015 mustang rendering

Omg I like that the best! It's not a radical departure from today's car, but nice enough with familial styling cues. They also fixed the 1/4 window how I'd have done it.

Check out the new issue of Car and Drive nice looking rendering there.

Looks great! I think they should the 13? style lights though. And maybe make the rings switchbacks so they light up white when in reverse. Then keep the middle rectangles as reflectors

Hmmm I like that render. But I'd change the tail a bit.
