'15 GT caliper help

I got my '15 GT base with the 18 inch wheels (which I did like) about 2 weeks ago. I want to dress up the calipers with covers, but I can't find anything for the 18 inch wheels - everything says 19 inch wheels. Besides paint, does anyone know of a cover that looks good and will fit? Thanks!

Anybody else with the 2015 GT and 18 inch wheels out there want to dress up their calipers???

Why not paint? POR15 is fairly cheap, looks better and offers protection against corrosion.

To be honest, I haven't seen calipers painted up close. I'm not sure how nice it would look. If anyone has any pictures of their calipers painted, maybe they could post them for me. I've seen the calipers covers and I do think those look nice. I could be open to painting them I guess.

Depends how good a job you do. 3+ coats on properly prepped metal will have a glossy, ceramic like finish. 2 or less coats on poorly treated metal tend to have a more rough finish (but still look good unless you're like a foot away from the caliper).

Here are mine painted with Duplicolor Caliper Paint

That looks great! About how long did this take you? How many kits? 1?

It took me a couple of hours but my situation is not typical, I have a lift in my garage.

I used a little over 1/2 of the can that came in the kit. The brush on kit goes further than the spray and you can do it without removing the calipers. I also painted the hats on the rotors black at the same time.

A lift would make life a whole lot easier!

Use an acid metal prep for best results.

Metal prep woukd be good on the rear calipers because they are iron but the fronts are aluminum.

The Duplicolor kit comes with a cleaner.
