stop shipment on 2012 mustangs
does anyone know the story on what is going on at ford?? i ordered a 2012 mustang GT convertable 2 months ago..the dealer says its on a stop shipment status on all mustangs..and they dont know when it will be shipped..what does that mean??

I called C. S. again today...They told me the sales manager tried to call me yesterday to tell me it's now scheduled for build (Though still no VIN). I called him...He said they'd sold four others and couldn't get their allotment increased, and that's why it's taken 8 weeks and still no VIN. I guess I should have called C.S. sooner. Sad that a small-town dealer can't get deliveries when they've sold cars.

Ive rec'd a post the other day fr another member, which he said he's posted earlier, that the problem with ford is that the v-6 eng also goes into the f-150 and since ford sells more of them than our ponies, we're left at the back of the pack.
As for some of the paint I was told when I call CS that the special colors come out of Japan (?) and since the accident and weather there its on hold.
Ive been waiting three weeks for some news on my order and all I get is nothing, and after reading all the comments, the bow tie seems I made a bad decision.
