no ambient lights

I have a 2013 GT Premium. None of the ambient lights will come on. Not a fuse. What am I missing? Please, driving me nuts! No lights on door sill, inside handle, footwells, cup holder. Car has the adjustable light feature. All other lighting features work and change. (spedo halos and numbers, etc..). And the map lights work but they are separate. Anyone?

Spinning bright to dim dial clicked off?

Ford56860 Apr 29, 2020 03:55 PM

nothing

Ford56860 Apr 29, 2020 03:58 PM

All works on the dash menu, but zero elumination. I even pulled out every fuse just to check. Made sure everything had lights to use. Dash menu says all is well and lets me choose colors etc.. Relay bad? if so, what relay? It is a great feature and it has not worked since I bought it used a couple moths ago.

Yep was just asking not to be a smart arz but sometimes it's the little things we don't think of. :yup:

Ford56860 Apr 29, 2020 06:25 PM

I also think it is something simple. Or at least why it is, and how to fix. Is there a big "on off" switch I don't see?
Help me guys.

So it did work before, obviously, and you can turn it on or off through the cluster, but nothing happens. I am assuming you looked at the fuse again in case you missed that it is out?

If your cluster dial is turned all the way up and still have no lighting? check your fuses again just to make certain you didn't miss any. If you didn't miss any? it's more than likely one of your relay's or modules need replaced :dunno:

If it was an issue in the door, then only the door light would not work. With all of them being out, has to be fuse or the connection before the circuit splits off to go to separate parts of the car. Replace the fuse anyway, just to rule it out.

I think he's gone.
