Need for Speed Hero Car

Spotted this the other day and was told it was a "Special Edition Prototype." Only a run of 200.
Thoughts?

They should limit the run to zero. IMO

I'm not a fan of wide bodies and that one looks very wide.

why do the quarter louvers look different in the other pictures than compared to the first? The first pic looks flush mounted and blended and the others look like your standard louvers.

I really don't understand what you mean. I just took some pics of the car in the shop.

I guess because I've seen so many Shelby wide bodies recently....

Agreed, wide body makes everything worse.

I'll reserve final judgement until I've seen the finished product. The widebody cars generally do nothing for me (and I lived through the 80's with widebody Testarossas and 928s!!!) but my initial reaction was WOW. And that's a good WOW

Keep the photos coming

I would be surprised if this was anything from Ford, but crazier things have happened I suppose...

Who were you told this by?

That looks like an indy tuning/body shop working on a custom build.

Plus that car has regular license plates and aftermarket wheels. We wouldn't see these things on a Ford prototype build.
