Remaining warranty on used mustang?
Hello and thanks for any answers here.
I am considering buying a used 2012 mustang from a non Ford dealer who got it on a trade in. Car would still have about 27 months on original 3/36 warranty based on original sale from Ford. Would Ford still honor that as it is used? This is a deal killer if not.
Thanks
Frank

Original factory warranties stay with the car, not the owner. You are good to go on the Factory Warranty.
On the other hand, aftermarket extended warranties can usually only be transferred once to a new owner.

the warranty doesnt matter if you buy it used or new. im not sure if ford is like gm but gm will check the ecu flashes and if one isnt on their records then they can void your warranty so make sure it hasnt been tuned.
