Try raising it up then going back, or tiliting the seat then going back.

Bring it in to your nearest friendly Ford dealership. That's what warranty's are for.

Mine went out too, dealer fixed it under warranty. It's the track that went bad.

Major problem.....call the news channel.....oh, wait, Ford is fixing them after customers talk to the service rep.

I actually had three installed. The first and second replacements would allow the seat to rock....not giving me a secure feeling. All is well now. Ford has been great.

Unhappy

Hi,

I have the same problem with the driver seat on my 2011 GT. I can no longer raise/lower the seat
But i have no warranty...

Is it possible to only change the motor ?

Serge.

I don't think it was the motor. I think it was the track assembly that went bad.

But mine makes no weird sound, no sound at all, and no move, even a very little move

I would suggest you check for a blown fuse. This may be a simple fix, and not the seat assembly at all.

As far as I know, Ford does not sell just the motors. May check with parts....
