Hello Guys , so yesterday I had a bad first time experience with my 2011 gt500 . I was driving to my mother’s house 6 miles away from my home, and everything seemed okay just a little vibrating with my steering wheel going around 40-50 mph. But as soon as I get to her block my car just seem as it like died for a second and then my steering wheel seemed very loose for like a second and starts getting stiffer and stiffer with a Power steering assist fault message? I had to tow it back home. Any help out there to anyone with the same issue and any solutions or testing a with the Epas or fuse? Or maybe the whole steering rack ?

Sorry No Easy Quick Test or Fix I Have Heard of But Here is What I Can Help you with!

Not a ton of Info on The Epas From The Shop Manual But Here You You Go.You Can Install a New Gear But Will Still Have to Have it Programmed and an Alignment Done So May Just Want to Have a Shop do it. Here is a Link To How To get a Good Price on a Rack as They are Not Inexpensive or Depending on Model Easy to Find at All. Forgive My Typo's on The Epas Pdf's It's 2:00 A.M. and another Insomnia Night! Sheez!

I am not sure about your issue, but I think I have heard of some EPAS issues before .... try the search tool (top right) and you might be able to find some existing threads on this

 

^^^^^ +1 on trying the search function menu located on the top right of the home page... When the drop-down menu displays, type in the search box 2011 GT500 EPAS... If any existing threads are available, you'll come across a listing for them...
