Will any of these OEM NAVS fit? Plug and play possible?
Hi everyone, new here. I've been lookin around and I saw the sticky post about adding oem and I'm just having trouble to see if either of these 2 systems will fit in my 2013 for mustang convertible.

Or

(With this one I would still need to buy the screen and radio bezel)
I'm thinking about aftermarket but I'm also wondering if sync will work with it seamlessly? That's one of the reason why I want OEM nav because of the seamless functionality and not having the dash look awkward.
Also I'm looking for wrecked cars around me and I haven't found much. Is there a guide or book or something that will tell me what year parts will work with my 13?

Use the search on this forum. I know I have seen a few write-ups on converting to OEM NAV. Good luck with your project. If nothing else this will keep you in the new posts.

I found a wrecked 2013 mustang close to and it has the newer nav, I don't know about the dual axis but for the nav and bezel they are asking $170...I'm thinking in going to hop on it. I don't want to loose sync by getting an aftermarket unit and also having the dash look odd because it's aftermarket.

What is this harness you speak of? I called the place to make sure they have the parts before I go and $170 was just for the screen. He said it would be 500 for nav and bezel. This is from a 2013 wrecked model. Is it still worth it?

If you could get everything you need then it would be worth it. You will NEED the dash harness that runs through your entire dash. This will allow you to have the plugs you need to get the nav working. You also will need the nav unit, the bezel, and screen, if you dont already have sync you will want to pickup the module for that.
I might be forgetting something so here is a link to the thread that has a list of required items and how to install it. Read up on it. https://themustangsource.com/forums/...em-nav-516988/
