Upgrade your ebrake and shift boot in the 2010+ with leather or alcantara
for the 10+ cars, i`m glad to say amustangrocksleather has come out with a nice upgraded boot for the 2010+ e brakes, made from a choice of leathers and alcantara with a top stitched seam, with colored stitching available. we have our first test eb boot installed in a car up in michigan that we made from the glove soft leather. the comment was:
"That brake boot looks fabulous, perfect. It looks 100 times better than the vinyl stock boot"
its a pretty easy diy install on your oem trim ring and sure looks better than that bla vinyl cover they come with. i`ll have the part up for sale this next week on the website, and some install pics and tips. this boot would really rock with the silverhorse machined grip/handles.

the shift boot is available now as a matching part to the e brake boot with matching stitching. the install will entail removing the vinyl boot from the trim ring and the plastic cup on the top, but a fairly easy diy job. i`ll have pics and tips for that too. the shift boot in this pic is not ours, but will be replaced with ours next week with a new pic coming.
also we are expecting the charcoal alcantara to be here this week (we have black in stock now) so things are getting ready to roll.
i`m also thinking about having the option for people to ship me the oem boots and doing the diy part here (for those that want the upgrade but just arent into the diy part), for a small fee, but making it a easy plug and play swap. any comments or ideas are welcome. thanks, mike and marcy

The E Brake boots are now up for sale on the site with 6 material options, 2 of which are Alcantara. we now have the black and charcoal Alcantara in stock. a few more days and the shift boots will also be up on the site, along with some how to pics on the install page.

last time i checked, i would have to buy full hides (aprox 55 sq ft in a hide- a few hundred bucks ea.) and even then, chances of any colors matching anything are very slim. and then there are texture issues. thats why i havent pursued colors for a while. but not saying it might not happen in the near future. i would like to get a few colors for options. if you can get matching material, we can make the parts. ive had a few people send me some materials to use

Not sure how I could come up with enough of the brick red cashmere material to make the ebrake and shift boot cover to match it. I would love to do just that. It would look very sharp with the matching leather.
