Quick Update. There's been a bit of progress. I was able to successfully add ribbon cable to the S550 clockspring. Ironically, it ended up being easier to add clockspring wire to the more complicated clockspring. The S197 Clockspring fought me the whole way. I ordered another S197 Clockspring to steal the flex cable from so we'll see what that nets me.
