Raxiom navigation system question

Tried posting this in the main forum - maybe I will have better luck here.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the raxiom nav system can do video in, even in place of the backup camera?

I would like to buy it if I'm able to mirror my iPhone screen on there. I see it comes with RCA cables, but it seems like the backup camera is a separate wire, so I'm not sure what those RCA cables are for. Thanks for anyone's help.

Have you tried the USB connection in the storage compartment behind the shifter?

Haven't purchased it yet. Am trying to figure out if it has that capability before I pull the trigger. Does USB on the back of most stereos allow for video.

I was thinking of using the RCA hook up on the back (iPhone lightning port to VGA converter to RCA converter to back of stereo).

It does have RCA inputs in the back of the unit and on the screen display I'm pretty sure there is an AV/IN tab that would select that input if you have something hooked up. I have the raxiom unit in my car. I can look on the screen in a few minutes and verify the AV/IN tab for you. I don't have anything connected to it in my vehicle though.

Yeah there's an AV IN tab there. It brings up a blank screen for me since I have nothing connected.

I played with this. You need to have the emergency brake on for video to work. I tried hooking up an iPod with an AV cable but couldn't get anything. But I also didn't work on it much since the whole e-brake thing makes it pretty useless to me.

Thanks for your help. I think there is a way to override that e-brake "feature." Maybe ill try contacting AM directly.
