Quick Speaker Help

I was checking some 6x8 speakers (Infinity Kappas and Reference series and Kenwood KFC-P680c) on Sonic Electonix and Amazon and I wanted to make sure of fitment. When I put in my car (2014 GT Shaker 500 no Nav) Amazon says they won't fit. If I change to a 2013 it says they will fit. Sonic doesn't have a choice for my car in 2014 but if I choose a 2013 it says they will fit. Did Ford actually change something with the speakers in 2014 or does Amazon, Sonic and Crutchfield (only shows speakers for rear deck in 2013/14) have incorrect information?

Am I correct that I'd also want some speaker wire adapters and I'd need some mounting plates from like a 2012 Mustang to install these?

The 13 and 14 are the same.
I do believe the Mounting Plates/Brackets are 4R3Z-18B947-AA and 4R3Z-18B947-BA and you will need the Adapter plugs, The Metra number is 72-5600.
I just bought 2 sets of JBL GTO 8628 6X8 for my 13 should be going in next weekend as long as my local Ford dealer gets the Mounting Plates for the front.

Thanks. I think I'm leaning towards the Kappa's so I think I'll call my dealer tomorrow and see about getting me those spacers. Then I'll order the adapter plugs and the speakers.
