Product - Nav Screen Protector

Link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B1AI9S/

This was the first thing I bought for the new car. Works perfectly, comes with two little finger-gloves to keep fingerprints off the film, and a little square cleaning cloth. Won't leave a residue on the screen, and it's easy to clean. Price is a little much, but it's better than trying to get my screen resurfaced down the road.

Just thought I'd leave a post here, and let everyone know that it will work with the 2011 screen.

Jeff actually told me to get this too... You have no issues on a sunny day with glare? Heck I have issues with glare with the screen alone.

Nope, no issues with glare. I can't imagine how hard it would be to see the screen in a convertible though. I think I'd opt out of the electronics package if I ever bought the convertible.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but is anybody doing this? I have my '12 on order and have never had the touch screen in my car before and I get nervous about the finger prints or even a scratch.

Haha I forgot to come back to this. But I have it and it took a while to get it on right but i would really recommend this product.
It l's easy to clean and really keeps the screen from getting starched.

Nope fits right over the screen, nothing was removed. It takes a few tries though to get it on straight.

Good choice. I thinks it's essential for all navi owners.

I'm very happy with the product. It's much similar material to the anti glare protector for the iPhone.

Does it stick by itself to the screen through electrostatic, or is there a sticky material on the backing?

It's not electrostatic, it's sticky. Similar to like a car window sticker material. It does not leave any residue or anything like that on the screen.

Hmm as long as it doesnt leave any residue then definitely worth it for me to try it out. Having a 'vert, sometimes it's hard to see the screen in the sun with top down - this might help me.

Nope no residue at all. It's a good product. Im sure it will help the glare on a sunny day with the top down. Worth $20 IMO.

Highly suggest is Jason. Given our "agreement streak" I'm sure you'll like it. It works perfectly and the few fingerprints that shop up on it are really easy to clean off. Barley any glare as well.
