GT500 shift ****?

Anyone know a part number or where to purchase a GT500 shift **** for a 2011? I like the look of it and would like to use it on my car. Also, there's nowhere on the **** itself that says "GT500" or "SVT" right?

If you have part #'s for both the striped and non-striped, please post them here.

Thanks!

Funny you should be wanting it... I'm looking to replace the one coming on my Shelby. I have the solid white ball as I ordered the Perf Pkg. I like the que ball but am thinking of getting an aftermarket Black/red stripe to match my car...

One thing though..... THe patterns don't match... GT car has R left of 1st... Shelby is right of 5th. You may need to go aftermarket. There was a link on here somewhere that had them. I have to find it.

If you go to Grabber Pony you can get a shift **** made up almost any way you want it, except striped. Their web site doesn't show the 2011 non-GT500 shift pattern yet but I wrote to them a couple months ago and they said they will be able to do the new shift pattern pretty soon. I plan on ordering one once they are available.

Thanks! Grabber pony was the place I was thinking of. Bummer they don't do stripes though.

Get the part numbers yourself. Find a GT500 VIN on eBay and call a Ford dealer. Give them the VIN and ask for the part # for the shift ****. The 401A shift **** is around $130, I'd expect the GT500 to be that much or more.

Well, my other concern was answered, if the GT and GT500 had the same shifting patterns (I hadn't looked that far into it yet). If not, then no big deal.

I just liked the white with two stripes over it, thought it was a nice touch to the interior. I'll just settle with the GT500 wheel in the mean time.

Oh how I wish the 500 had the same pattern as the GT... R-1 is soooo nice... Also, can someone with a 2010 Shelby let me know about the stick effort to put the trans in reverse? I was at the NY auto show last week and the show car took almost as much effort as my '72 Triumph! I'm HOPING that's just because it's the show car and is beat to hell.. The clutch was clunky too... Must be all the children pumping it like a flat tire.

Has anyone confirmed that the 2011 GT500 hasn't went to a different transmission setup to match the GT?

I prefer the R-1 shift, not the 5-R setup like the GT500 has.

This isn't quite as nice, but it does have the Lemans stripes. Currently only for the five speed 05-10, but I suppose it is only a matter of time before we see it for the 2011.

I know it's a personal preference thing, but I MUCH prefer the metal shifter.

I don't own a 2010 but I'm just sayin

I agree. I think the 401A **** looks much better. Overboost, don't forget to add the GT500 shift and e-brake boots too! The suede will match the steering wheel...

Be careful, metal shift ***** can get hot. I know guys that cover them with rags so they can actually use them. Now silver painted is a different story...

2010 GT500 shift ****

I know it's not the right shift pattern for your needs but I figured I'd post a link to where people searching can find the 2010 GT500 shift ****: http://www.blueovalindustries.com/pr...p?pid=99013574

idk about the shift ****, but the gt500 boot with the white stitching is something I think would go great to match the charcoal with white stitching of either the 400a or 401a package.
