Found a decent mount

I've been looking for a dash mount that would somehow flow nicely with my car. I finally found the solution (sorry for crappy quality);

Very nice fit. It's hard to see but I ran a USB cable from the SYNC module for charging

Here's the back, doesn't interfere with passenger leg room
Attachment 214579

Here's what you'll need
  1. USB 2.0 A Female to 5 PIN Mini-B Male USB 10.5CM Adapter Cable (This is to connect to the 2nd USB Port on the SYNC module in the glove box)

Thanks for this! Nice to see someone posting their solutions and I don't see a lot of this sort of thing.

$30 for a small bent piece of metal? I can make that with scrap I have laying around. Alternatively, you can buy a pre-drilled piece that looks almost like that already at Home Depot for $1 and make 2 bends in it, then paint it black.

This is basically the mount I use ($15):

The swivel ball on it is the same size as Garmin so I can mount my backup-gps there as well.
