Does your Mustang get hot...inside?
I've never had the fog, but mine does run hot as well. My 2013 is like this and so was my 2008. It's hard to go for a summer ride with the windows down without working up a a bit of a sweat. If you search other threads you'll see you're not the only one and is fairly normal.
Cooled seats would have been a nice option instead of heated ones!

I have a hard time buying into that. I have never owned a car that condensates on the inner windshield like this one. My 2000 f150 with 315,000mi doesn’t fog up period and I drive it on the same days as the Stang. I haven’t taken mine in yet, but plan to next week.
Hello Everyone!
I've just become the owner of Mustang since May, and looking forward to be part of this great community.
It has been quite a ride since that day, everything about Mustang was new to me that it will take months to get used to its mechanics and finally being able to drive comfortably lol
Lately, I've been noticing fair amount of heat inside the car and it's starting to annoy me. I suspect the heat coming from underneath the steering wheel making my knees feel warm forcing me to turn a/c on everytime.
The Front windshield fogs up quite often, even on Sunny Days when no one else has it. The fog will also come and go when driving, I can literally see them steaming up & disappear.
The thing is, I've never driven a car this hot
and I ask for help here because I hear quite a few mustangs get warm inside (and they say it's normal for mustang)
Could this be just a 'Mustang thing' I have to learn to deal with or is there something seriously wrong with my brand new 2013 5.0?

Well, I finally took it in and they were able to duplicate the fog, but they don't have a fix for it!! They called the ford hotline and were told to check some of the climate control actuators which apparently checked out ok. They even had a field service engineer out there and Nada! So I took it in for 3 issues and they didn't fix one **** thing!! Ignitor tick noise from motor, even supplied them with a video and sound clip, unable to duplicate. Nice, I lose a day of work, I bring in my clean car, now it's dirty with less gas in the tank!! About readt to trade or go to a different dealer.
i too noticed these things when i first got my 13 gt. my feet would get warm when driving and i get condensate on the insides pretty regularly especially since winter. i do think the car is pretty air tight in the cabin. i also notice there's no airflow through the vents when i turn the ac unit off. it's like it closes a vent. i'd prefer to have outside airflow without running the ac unit.
I recently installed a woodburning fireplace insert in my home and needed some high-temperature insulation to seal off the transition from fireplace to flue. My local wood stove/fireplace shop GAVE me a piece of foil-backed fiberglass insulation which, according to them, you could play a torch on one side and put your hand on the other without getting burnt. (No, I didn't try it.) It's about 1" thick uncompressed, but could be mashed flat and still probably keep a lot of heat out. Another possibility where thickness could be problematic is Reflectix insulation. A lot of street rod builders have discovered this; it's kinda like bubble pack sandwiched between two sheets of a foil material. Either would probably be helpful in insulating against cabin heat from consoles or under seats and carpeting. Might even be able to work some in around the dash and/or firewall.
have this on mine and frankly it isn't as often.
Thought it was the vent outside causing condensation on the windows on a hot day w/ the AC on...
I also sometimes feel excess heat from around the trans tunnel/driver side footwell, sometimes when driving for long periods of time.
Reckon it has to do with a lot of factors, i.e. angle of the windshield, vent settings etc
