Can the power outlets be set to turn on and off with car

908ssp, I'm glad you figured this out. I had the exact same thought., and wanted to mod it this way too. I found the two fuses for the two 12V power point ports, in the engine bay fuse box. However I couldn't find any fuses or relays powered from accessories, in the engine bay fuse box. These are all in the passenger side fuse box instead.
Could you tell what accessories fuse or relay you tapped off from to do this mod? What year/model is your vehicle that you did this on?
Mine is a 2006 Mustang.
