Audio equipment
Ok i'm settling on these parts all from Sonicelectronix.com
Front doors: Infinity kappa 5x7
Kicker 8" subs
Rear: Infinity reference 5x7 ($55 bucks!)
Amp: JLAudio XD400x4
JLAudio XD 200/2 (door subs)
Audio control LCQ-1 for factory integration (crutchfield.com)
Now all i need to do is brush up on how to install the LCQ-1 myself. There isn't a AC installer in Va that isn't within 200 miles of were i live.

Has anyone installed something like the LCQ-1 themselves? I did find some info from http://www.evilcartman.com/shaker-50...b-install.html. The first pic attached is of the passenger side trunk were my interior speaker's amp is located. Next picture is of the driver side (inside) were the two of my sub amps are located. So i'm thinking i need to tap the sub amps and run the wires to the trunk. Then tap the wires off the trunk mounted amp to complete the job.

Hi, I've installed a JBL ms-8 processor and JL XD600/6 in my car. It doesn't have the nav system but does have the shaker 1000. So I picked up the L&R signal from the back of the factory head unit and the sub signal from the shaker 1000 amp. I believe the factory amps add eq to the signal so be aware of that if you are tapping the speaker lvl signal after the amps. I'm not familiar with the LCQ so don't know if it flattens the input signal. There are wiring diagrams here http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=710&viewfil...Navigation.pdf if you need them.

AudioControl's LCQ-1 six-channel signal processor lets you bridge the gap between your factory stereo and the high performance power of aftermarket amplifiers, speakers, and subs. It accepts speaker-level signals from your factory radio or amplifier and lets you custom tune the output to achieve audiophile performance in your car. You'll keep all the features of your car's audio system, like navigation and Bluetooth®, and maintain your car's showroom look, while enjoying performance that a factory sound system can only dream about.
Inputs and outputs
The LCQ-1 features six speaker-level inputs that accept the amplified output of your existing factory system. The LCQ-1 sums all the signals you send it, even if they're actively crossed over by your factory system, so you get a strong, full-range signal for your processors and amps. The LCQ-1's 6-channel RCA preamp outputs connect to up to three external amplifiers. The optional dash-mount remote control allows you to adjust the level of your sub channel on the go.
Serious equalization for seriously good sound
The LCQ-1 lets you get the sound you want, whether you like your sound heavy on the lows, screaming on the highs, or somewhere in-between. You'll find independent EQ for the front, rear, and sub outputs, while AudioControl's AccuBASS™ signal processing corrects factory-set bass levels that limit the full potential of your system's low end.

This is what audio control says;
The LCQ-1 needs to be installed in the signal path between your OEM
source unit (or factory amplifier) and after-market amplifier(s) and/or
processor(s). Do not connect the LCQ- between the factory head unit and
the factory amplifier. Locate the amplified speaker wires that are coming from
your factory source unit and/or amplifier and connect them to the speaker-level
inputs on your LCQ-1. In many cases you can find factory speaker leads in the
rear of the vehicle or at the factory amplifier that are easy to access.
So with that once i connect the kicker subs (they are single voice coil) i would need to make sure i label which wires i wire up on the subs, so that i splice the correct output speaker wires on the factory amp?

Alright if anyone has the early build 11' with the main factory amp in the trunk here is the wiring configurations....
Front:
Left
+ White
- W/ brown stripe
Right
+ W/ purple stripe
- W/ orange stripe
Rear:
Left
+W/ green stripe
- Brown/ yellow stripe
Right
+Brown/ white stripe
-Brown/ blue stripe
I'll tap the speaker wires and install the LCQ-1 and amps tomorrow. BTW the kicker door sub grills and flimsy as heck. They seem to be made of Styrofoam or some very cheap!
