ASWC Steering Wheel Interface

Has anyone installed this unit, or heard anything about it? I was considering it in my '12 car when I change out the radio to my AVIC-920BT.

wow. nice. I'm sure it works pretty well. I have a PAC version of it from 7 years ago in my lincoln truck, but with IR emitter and that works pretty **** good with my Avic Z3. I can only imagine how well this works

was doing a little research on this and although I didn't find any reviews from actual mustang owners, by far the reviews are great on this unit, as opposed to the PAC unit. Lots of bad reviews on the PAC unit. I'll be using this unit if the scosche dash kit ever ships...

I have one, should be putting it in pretty soon. I plan to use the wheel controls from the BOSS steering wheel in my 07 to control my AVIC-Z120BT. I'll post results when it's in.

Scruffy make sure you change your steering wheel lights to green to match your interior!

hey scruffy, also post your impressions of the AVIC-Z120BT. that's the model I'm steering towards.

Have the parts going into my car soon as well. Did you go with the Metra dash kit too?

yeah, I got my head unit, the ASWC interface and a couple of other things waiting to go in, and no Scosche kit.

I don't think we will see anything shipping until late next month. CES show is early January, I wonder if Scosche is going to announce an upgraded unit given the new Metra kit announced or whether they just quir while they're ahead.

I went ahead with the Metra since the Scosche wasn't available and I really didn't care for the touch screen feature. I will update once I get the install complete. Might be a couple of weeks only home on the weekends right now and they can get a little busy.
