2014 Mustang Seat Covers
 

I'm looking for a nice seat of seat covers to put over the factory seats. Any recommendations on the best fit, quality and price? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was also interested in putting Blue GT 500 seat cover over the existing set. Can these be swapped out?

I had Wet Okole brand in my '05 because it had cloth seats, very well made and fit so good they looked factory. Order them without their logo. The neoprene type are nice because nothing gets through them if you spill, but they do make the seats warmer in the summer because they don't breath quite as well.

Depending on your skills, it should not be too hard.
I ordered some from the same seller, and they are super nice seats - shipped fast and well packed, exactly as represented.
I have not installed them, but I have done seats in a Camry in the past, which required hog rings throughout and hog ring pliers to install.
The Mustang seats appear to clip on everywhere but the seatbelt pass-throughs (my car has Recaro fronts) (hog rings for that area).
The rear appears to be all clips - no hog-rings required.
Basically, the clips look like a straw with a cutout (an inch or two long, and cylindrical). My guess is that they clip to seat-frame bars, and you just need to carefully remove the old one and reinstall in the same manner (reverse order).
Typically, you start in the center and work your way to the edges.

The Camry install took less than a Saturday, and it was my first time trying seat cover replacement.

For me, I am still contemplating how to separate the plastic trim covering the seatbelt pass-throughs on the Recaros. I got a schematic from a parts guy at a Ford Dealer, but it is not really helpful. I might go ahead and order a set, and study those. Then I have spares in case I am wrong about taking it apart...

Pain in the arse to install but that's because they fit perfectly. The Synthetic Leather is thick and padded and they will hold up over years of use/abuse. I installed them on my Old 2009 Focus when I first got the car. Took me most of the day just to do the two front seats. My Wife's Nissan took me 5 hours for the front and back seats. When it comes time to do my Mustang, It will be Katzskin and I will let someone else do it.

I got Igees for my wife's Kia and they look better than the OEM covers. I thought the fronts were going to be a pain because the active headrests don't just pop out on her car, but then after removing the seat back and getting the headrests out, I realized the covers have velcro at the top, eliminating the need for removing the headrests. :banghead: Could have been done in under two hours.

I did the leather take off in my old mustang. Pretty easy took me the afternoon to get it done. No experience with any upholstery in the past. Did it by myself too. The back is easy and just clips in. The fronts are a little harder but easy to do if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.
