2011 mustang gt climate control keeps malfunctioning

I have a 2011 Mustang GT with aftermarket radio metro install kit and my audio climate control module keeps breaking. I’ve gone through six of them in about a year. Anybody know what’s going on here??

Welcome,

Are You Pulling Any Trouble Codes, It Might Help Pinpoint Issue. You Will Need a Reader Which Pulls More Than Just DTC P-Codes. I Can Only assume Something is Wired Incorrectly and Shorting Out.

Also A Bit More Detail On Equipment Used and What Function Exactly is Failing Will Be Helpful!

A Way to Cut to The Chase Would Be To See if You Can get a Ready Made Adapter Harness From Crutchfield Which They Can Make For Some Audio Systems To a Specific Car. Any Issues After That & I Would Suspect Head Unit. That is As Long As Only The Head Unit Was Changed. If Amps Etc. Are Tied in Elsewhere That is More Complicated.

Oh, And Moved You To Interior & Audio! No Worries!

welcome to the forum

I don't know; but my guess would be that it has to do with the aftermarket radio metro install kit ... maybe not 100% compatible
