2011 GT Ebrake boot replacement
 

I've bought a brand new leather ebrake boot to replace this ugly looking vinyl boot on my 2011 GT. So far so good - but now my problem: how do I get the f* thing off? According to redlinegoods.com I have to remove the entire console! Is that really necessary? Can anybody help?

Where did you buy the leather ebrake boot? Is it factory OEM? Cost?

I've bought it from redlinegoods.com. Black leather with white stitching and a white leather stripe (matching with my seats). Great value for money and they are really fast! So you've got a lava red 2012 GT? Brilliant choice!!!! How I envy you for that colour! They didn't have that with the 2011 GT :(
