Recommendation for quality wheels for '13 with Brembo brakes. Vibrating Forgestars...

I bought my car with 20" Forgestar F14 already on them. Not too happy with the vibration at 60mph+. I've already checked for the rotor retaining clips, they've been removed. I was going to check/order hub rings but when I measured the center bore, it was 70.5mm. Nowhere online did I see that they are hub centric, so how was the previous owner able to get them in 70.5mm center bore size?

Any recommendations for a different wheel? The '13 GT500 wheels look pretty good and are forged but I can't find any for a reasonable price...

Maybe the wheels/tires just need a balance?

If the wheels you have now have a centering ring. Get rid of them... Get some Ford Racing wheels that center on the lugs. You will be glad you did. I have been down that road before.

I'm pretty sure that hub centric is better than lug centric, but somebody else can chime in on that.

Also s197 ford wheels would inherently also be hub centric...

Hubcentric is better than lugcentric, and Ford wheels would mostly be hubcentric anyways.

What's your budget and goals. For high quality wheels, spend big bucks for forgelines or CCWs. I know a guy out on Long Island that bent the forgestars on his Shelby. They're light but soft, it appears. I believe there are some Enkeis that fit too, and are high quality, but 18" only.

The 20" Forgestar F14 Wheel is a better lighter wheel than Ford Racing wheels.
The vibration may be the EPAS. The EPAS was a problem with the 2011 Mustangs mostly, but with the bigger wheels it can act up.

I have Forgestar F14s on my 2011 and no problems with vibration at all. Very happy with the wheels and way lighter than factory wheels.
