Question about the MCA Tri Bar Pony Grille

Hi All,

Hunted around, and didn't really see/find an answer, so I'll ask:

For those that have the Mustang Club of America 2013/14 Tri Bar Pony billet grille - how long/wide is the emblem? Is it the same size as the fender emblem versions, which I located dimensions of about 4.5" x 4.5"?

Also, is it possible to move the emblem to the center, instead of off-center towards the driver's side? I think so, but checking to be sure.

3rd - if the grille emblem is not the same size as the fender emblems, has anyone come across the grille version with the pony going the other direction? If so, where can I get one?

Thanks!!!

Tami

It's the same as the fender emblems - I measured them at just under 4.5 inches high, but they're the same.

As far as relocating the grille emblem to the center: the bracket that the emblem's attached to is probably movable, but the 13/14 MCA grille is not open behind the billet bars at the center - it's solid black plastic for 4 or 5 inches on either side of center. I imagine that some of that can be cut away if necessary.

I happen to have a 2013 MCA grill in my living room ,here's a picture of the back. The emblem has a gray plastic backing and it appears to be held on to the horizontal grill with two nuts as seen in the picture. it does look like it could be slid and adapted to mount elsewhere on the grill. The nuts appear to be about 3 1/4 inches apart or close to that...The second picture shows how the backing plate rests on the bars of the grill. Edit I can only add one pic per post. See next post!
