Mine is J3T (Cause JET, which are my initials, was taken and I had to get creative). I always thought it would be cool if I ever get a Cobra, then it could be my Cobra Jet!

I can't believe that wasn't taken! How long did it take you to get it? I'm now on my 9th week, it said 8-12...

Right?! I was surprised when it said it was available!

I want to say it took about 6-7 weeks (I actually have had this plate for about 1.5 - 2 years), but I want to say our Mini custom plates (which we ordered about this time last year) took a little longer... To the point where I thought there might have been a problem, but it eventually came in too.

Gotcha thanks for the info. I'll just wait until 12 weeks and then call. I mean, this IS the CA DMV we're talking about...

No problem!

Sadly, that's about right. Although, I always seem to get my registration tags super quick... Must be a different department... LOL!

Yeah I got my reg immediately. I actually paid a day late, online, and got them within a week.

I'd love to get one myself, but my insurance co won't insure a car with vanity plates (crazy, but true).

That is awesome! I would like to get one someday but they are so expensive. Maybe once I start working again and can pay for it myself. Too bad they don't have an 8 letter one so I could do MSTGMAMA. Maybe by then I will think of something cool. I've been playing with it this morning. Best I can come up with is I(heart)MYGT. lol. That is only available to the T plate at the moment.

it is so expensive, and doesn't serve any purpose...untill you figure out... lot more people now recognize your car better.. so this serves as an exterior mod for me. keep playing with myplates, i have seen sometime options come up they were not available suddenly as somebody cancelled it. so keep a look out. best one i like is below

Cool. When he becomes famous for his camera work, we can say we knew him back when.
