Thanks. I worried a bit about the brash color but just focused on dumping the chrome and letting the red be the only thing shining. If I can figure out a good de chrome solution for the front I'll do the gas cap and powdercoat the exhaust tips. Dunno!

 

Love it. Ruby Red is so sexy! If only my first two Mustangs weren't Laser Red and Redfire lol

 

I have a RR one as well. I have had several Red cars but this car the RR is sexy to say the least. I get stopped everywhere.

Matte black stripes work great. They really emphasize the intensity of Ruby Red.

 

Thanks for the kind remarks guys. Yes matte black GT500 stripes and they are from American Muscle. They use actual 3M backing which makes a massive difference when applying. The vinyl from BigWormGraphix is good quality but the backing is cheap and made applying them unnecessary difficult. It would have sucked if I went with the cheaper Main stripes from them. You get what you pay for. I had to use them however because the Rocker stripe options from American Muscle are limited.

Thanks! Those are iPhone 6 pics. It does remarkably well really but I notice detail fades pretty fast beyond the car and it shoots dark. Not that I know crap about cameras.

However my Nikon p610 showed up this weekend and I was able to take some pics at a local meet tonight. I got brave on a few shots and turned off the nannies. I didn't post the blurry ones. There were several LOL. Neat camera. Note the difference in depth and detail. Thought I'd share...
